  • Killer in the Pool

    By Ckeli72
Good book with lots of facts about the sad reality of Sea Worlds multi-million dollar industry. Keeping these poor whales in captivity, proves not only harmful to the animal, but fatal to those forced to put on a good show. Truly sickening! Sea World should not be allowed to take such a precious token of the sea, simply to use as a circus act.

  • A detailed inside view of life in the Orca Pool

    By Randompiece
This incredible book is not only well written and captivating form the first sentence on, but it is also a behind the scenes story on the life of one of the most revered and powerful "pets" in the world… Seaworld's orcas. Although the conclusion of the book is clear from it's start, the story of Tilikum is a warning sign that compells us to discriminate against keeping these animals as part o a show. It is also the story of an industry -marine parks- as seen through the eyes of one of it's sons. One that was affectes by their negligence and avarice.

  • A Insightful Book

I've always had a love/hate relationship with Sea World. They first introduced me to the beauty and power of the Orcas species but this book has pierced my heart over keeping these majestic beings locked up. Perhaps we have learned all that we can.

  • Love and awareness

This quick read was emotional as much as it was informational. The life as a killer whale kept in captivity explains how a whale truly feels.
